This term, our topic is Invaders! We will be learning about the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings in England and their effects on the history of our country.
This Summer term, Green Class are learning about Invaders. We'll be finding out all about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings and how they affected Britain. We'll be looking at a myth called Arthur and the Golden Rope which is set in Viking times. We'll be looking at the features of myths and the language used in them.
For Maths, Green Class are moving on to learning about multiplication, division and fractions.
In Science, Green Class will be learning all about Forces and will be making magnets and using small vehicles to learn about friction and gravity.
We've also restarted our Monday swimming activities and our Wednesday walks. We'll also be making a range of foods in our cookery sessions (foods which can also be reproduced at home easily).
In the Autumn term, we learnt about food from different countries, healthy eating and how digestion works.
In English, we're looking at non-fiction information texts and will be writing our own information page about food. In Maths, we're currently learning addition and subtraction.
