This term we begin our new science curriculum, and will be learning about Our Body and Materials. In Our Body, we will be looking at many of the functions of the body, from digestion to circulation and finding out how these systems work. We'll also find out about how we can keep our bodies healthy and functioning at their best. The Materials topic will look at different states of materials - including finding out about changes of state - and will investigate how properties of materials make them useful in various applications. 

Elsewhere in the curriculum, this term we will continue to practise our times-tables on TT Rock Stars, our number bonds on Numbots, and will be revising number and place value, and then improving our confidence with written and mental methods of calculation. We will also be continuing to sharpen up our English skills with a fiction unit inspired by The Odyssey, using a graphic fiction version of the text.

Our PSHE units for the term will be Dreams & Goals and Relationships.
