In the classroom

This term, Green Class will be learning how to write descriptive diaries of a First World War soldier; using  adjectives and adverbs to expand noun phrases. We are also reading Baker by the Sea by Paula White as an example of a village on 'The Home Front.' 

Our current Math's topics are  ' Multiplicative reasoning, Shape and Equivalence'.

In PSHE this term, we have been discussing  'What makes a good friend' and 'How to resolve conflicts peacefully.'

Our science has focused on invertebrates and classification into the different groups; Crustaceans, arachnids, annelids, molluscs, insects ,and echinoderms. We have been on an invertebrate hunt and represented annelids ( Worms) drawing their segemented bodies , molluscs in clay and plasticene and arachnids or spiders with pipecleaners.
